Then this is for you…. Hi I’m Lynn and I am a Certified Ayurveda Yoga Specialist (A.YS.) 500 hour registered yoga teacher. Yoga Nidra is a classical form of enlightened sleep, aka ‘psychic sleep’ where you get to do nothing but be comfortably relaxed, remain undisturbed and remain consciously in a state of dreamlike awareness.
This is a sacred restorative pilgrimage for physical and mental relaxation and is worth experiencing over and over again. Sessions are guided with themes to reduce stress, promote healing and deal with help pain management, etc.
These ancient (yogic) tools help you break old thinking habits & encourage new positive thought processes—for a calmer body and a more receptive mind.
We begin with getting settled, with a Sankalpa (intention) & when you are ready to leave you will feel completely renewed. The restorative benefits are numerous & include recalibrating the central nervous system, so you sleep better.
We add ‘Breathe In & Bliss Out’ (pranayama) with soothing guidance during the entire meditation. Yoga Nidra is supported entirely in Savasana (easy – corpse) posture. All props are provided are available, so you come in and leave without a worry.
